Vice Versa With Bypass & LED's

Switch from Loop A to B or B to A!

Here's a clever little box! Unlike the Double Loop Switch I make where you switch between loops, this box has one loop (A) running into the other (B), then when the 'Vice Versa' button is pressed, the order of the loop is reversed and the second loop (B) is placed in front of the first loop (A). The Vice Versa!

For example, in Loop 1 you could have a Wah Wah pedal and in loop 2 you could have an Overdrive pedal. When the switch is pressed the Overdrive pedal would be placed in front of the Wah Wah for a different effect!

The only thing to hold you back is your imagination as each loop can hold multiple pedals for a variety of CRAZY set-ups...

What does the LED mean?

I've been asked to add LED's as an option to various pedals in the range, mainly so you can tell at a glance when the unit is on/off. I've used the 'Super Bright' Ice Blue & Orange LED's so that this pedal will stand out from the others on your pedal board. These boys are bright!

The LED's above the 'Vice Versa' switch let you know which loop is first. The top LED is Blue and the one below is 'Orange'. Only one of these will light up, so you know blue means one way and orange the other. The LED above the 'Bypass' switch lets you know that the loops are engaged. For example if the 'Bypass' LED is not lit, then you're just going straight to the amp. If the 'Bypass' LED is 'on', then both loops are engaged in the order you have selected.

What about build quality?

Over recent years Guitarists have been going back to some more traditional methods in the search for a purer tone. That means heading away from PCB's, (Printed Circuit Boards) and back to point-to-point wiring using thicker cables. This is a trend that definitely works as the larger the area the signal has to travel on, the less it's restricted, so the purer the sound. You can see various examples of this with amps like the Cornford range, Marshall's latest 'Hand Wired' series, as well as the 'Hand Wired' Vox AC30's.

All my units are made by hand with high grade components to keep your signal as pure as possible. I have over 10 years experience as a Guitar Tech as well as several years experience in electronic assembly to medical spec.

Switch - Heavy Duty Footswitch made by Carling,
(also used by several American manufacturers like
Fender, Electro Harmonix, etc).
Jacks - Sturdy 1/4 inch jack socket made by Switchcraft,
(also used by several American manufacturers like Gibson, etc).
Wire - 22 SWG Single core Vintage Style Cloth covered,
(Preferred by Guitar and Amp Tech's worldwide).
Solder - Higher Silver content to improve connectivity.

Although this unit is pictured with the optional PSU Socket
unless the PSU Socket has been added to your order a standard 9v battery terminal will be fitted.
